Navigating the Zion Shuttle System

EXPERIENCE UNFORGETTABLE VIEWS

THE ZION SHUTTLE SYSTEM

There are two free hop-on, hop-off shuttle systems: one for Zion National Park, and one for getting around town in Springdale.

For the current shuttle bus schedules, please see the information book in the LaFave guest rooms or visit NPS.gov/Zion. As a general rule of thumb, the shuttles run at least every 5-15 minutes in the busy season starting at sunrise and going a little past dark.

20 years ago the park decided to establish a shuttle system within the main Zion Canyon section of the park. The shuttle was necessary due to the lack of parking spaces within the park. Except for winter, you must ride the bus to enter the main Zion canyon. For many visitors, the 50 minute shuttle ride to the top of the canyon is one of their favorite experiences of visiting the park.

Despite the crowds visiting each year, Zion still manages to exceed expectations. The visitors simply love the Zion experience evidenced by the fact that they come back and also tell their friends about the wonders of the park. From talking to our guests (and seeing the high reviews from the park visitors) we witness the satisfaction visitors get from experiencing this special place.
